Lori G. Davis, Founder & CEO
As the founder and visionary behind Paramount Success Group and My Reservation People, Lori is passionate about helping small businesses in the pet industry achieve unimaginable success! Lori holds a degree in Management and Employee Relations and holds a Certificate of Leadership Excellence from Harvard University. She began her career in sales, later owning two small businesses in Texas before relocating to Connecticut. As a professionally trained business coach and project manager, Lori attributes her consulting success to proven hiring and onboarding practices, strategic pricing models, successful sales and customer service training, effective leadership and team development, and a clearly defined communication strategy across all channels.
Lori was a founding member of the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) and is dedicated to ensuring that all pets receive proper care, with their health, happiness, and safety as top priorities.
When the world came to a halt due to COVID-19, Lori provided strategies to help pet care businesses across the country stay open. One of her clients had remained open, offering generous discounts and free services to first responders and employees of local essential businesses. However, they were shut down when some local groomers complained and called the police. Lori went to bat for her client by contacting representatives at the county and state levels, including the state Attorney General’s office and the Chief of Staff for a state Senator. The Senator’s Chief of Staff took her compelling case to the Governor’s office. Just five days after her client was required to close, the Governor’s office announced that all boarding, daycare, and grooming businesses in the state were deemed essential businesses. Her accomplishment on behalf of all pet care businesses in the state will go down as one of Lori’s proudest moments and speaks to her trademark motto and mindset, Goodness Wins.
Lori lives in Newport, Rhode Island, and spends time in Connecticut and New Hampshire, visiting her grown children, one grandson, and a lively lab named Huckleberry.
Amy Hills, CPACO
Amy Hillis is a thought leader in the pet care industry and Co-Founder of Social Pet Hotel and Daycare, a multi-location pet care company serving the Charlotte, NC area. She is passionate about educating and empowering pet care professionals to better serve their clients and lead their teams with confidence and compassion.
Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Ohio University, a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Certificate in Leadership and Change from Queens University of Charlotte.
Drawing from her background in education, Amy discovered that her passion for differentiated instruction, meeting each learner’s unique needs, translated seamlessly into the pet care industry. She applies this philosophy to drive the growth of Social Pet and to help other business owners reach their goals.
A dedicated advocate for professionalism in pet care, Amy has served on the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) board, helping to advance independent certification standards for the industry. She has developed educational content for pet care organizations and professionals, and is a sought-after international speaker at industry conferences.
Amy is a two-time recipient of the IBPSA Industry Leader Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the pet care industry through education, leadership, and animal welfare. She is also an author, speaker, Certified Professional Animal Care Operator, Pet Tech Instructor, and Fear Free Certified Professional.
Amy lives in South Carolina with her husband, son, and two dogs. She and her husband also maintain a farm in the North Carolina mountains, home to a variety of rescued animals, including pigs, horses, chickens, and goats.
Emily G. Steinmetz
Communications & Marketing Manager
Emily graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology. She began working with Lori toward the end of high school and continued throughout college. After college, she became a certified health coach and holistic nutritionist. She co-owns a business called Chronically Healthy and has an avid social media following, offering articles, conversations, and support for people who suffer the effects of chronic illness.
Emily’s passion for writing, graphic design, promoting brands, and her innate entrepreneurial spirit led to a full-time position with Paramount Success Group (PSG). She has been instrumental in the growth and success of PSG’s sister company, My Reservation People (MRP). At MRP, she leads and manages a virtual team of Reservation Specialists who produce profitable reservations for our pet care partners across the country. Emily has fostered a cohesive company culture, turning the virtual environment into an engaging online workplace. Check out the Glassdoor reviews!
Emily lives in Connecticut with her husband Chris, their son, Liam, and two hilarious and loveable French Bulldogs, Mako and Minnow.
Lisa Garner Carroll
Operations Manager
After a successful and award-winning career in sales, leadership, and financial management, Lisa Carroll is the newest member of the Paramount Success Group team.
Lisa earned an MBA and began her professional career with a Fortune 100 Company, where she increased territory profit by 825% in the first year and was awarded Marketing Person of the Year. Later, she developed a business plan, negotiated the purchase of a free-standing commercial property, secured financing, designed, and managed renovations for a large veterinary practice. She spent 14 years as the Project and Financial Manager for what became one of the largest and most profitable single-doctor veterinary practices in Dallas, Texas.
Before joining Paramount Success Group, Lisa worked in B2B sales for 12 years, generating and managing over $6 million in annual revenue while meeting and exceeding desired profit margins.
Lisa is self-driven and extremely detail-oriented in all aspects of the business cycle, and we are thrilled to have her join our team!
Lisa has two grown children and now lives full-time on her beautiful farm in Arkansas with her partner Jim and an adorable Shih Tzu named Tucker.
